Piła ensures trouble-free access to all corners of the city. The network of bus connections provides access to places that are worth coming to know. Municipal Transport Company (MZK) has modern, low-floor fleet. The buses are equipped with voice announcement system that informs passengers about the location of the next stop. The buses also have ticket vending machines allowing to buy one-way bus tickets. In 2009, a fee collection system was introduced for the use of public transport by means of an electronic ticket, encoded in the Piła City Card. Travellers without the Piła City Card can buy oneway tickets at kiosks throughout the city or in buses (from the driver or the ticket machines).

Public transport tickets can also be purchased using the SkyCash and CallPay applications – system of universal payment by mobile phone and other mobile devices. It is enough to have a phone with Internet access and to install free application.

If you want to visit Piła by your own car you should know that traffic jams, the nightmare of today’s drivers and of big cities, are very rare here. You can efficiently, quickly and safely cross the city and get to your destination.
However, it is worth remembering that there are several paid parking zones in the city.
