“PARK MEETINGS”

 

Is a musical offer for the summer Sunday afternoons, organised by Regionalne Centrum Kultury Fabryka Emocji (Regional Cultural Centre). Renown musicians give open-air concerts in the City Park. A bank of the park’s biggest pond turns into a stage, and the opposite bank, including the nearby benches and gazebo, are occupied by students. Whoever takes part in musical “Park Meetings” even ones knows that it is a worthwhile experience.

“BUKOVINA MEETINGS” INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL /MIDSUMMER NIGHT

 

Which attracts folk groups from Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. Dancing, fire, singing and wreaths on the water in the beautiful scenery of the Piła island.

 

 

MUSIC FESTIVAL&MASTER CLASS

 

Workshops for young musicians from all over the world as well as concerts of various types of music for the residents and visitors of Piła.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHT’S THEATRES “4 ELEMENTS”

 

The beautiful Piła becomes magical city -multimedia spectacle on the river, laser shows, dancing with fire and ballet  in the sky. You shouldn't miss it.

 

AGRICULTURAL FAIR. GARDEN CITY EXHIBITION

The city organises a unique exhibition and fair that take place in the Island Park. We invite professionals and green-lovers, owners of home gardens, terraces or balconies which they would like to embellish. The exhibition visitors can obtain information and expert advice, purchase gardening equipment and plants, flowers and trees for home gardens. The event is accompanied by contests, demonstrations and animations for children.

 

 

SPORT

 

Sport it is a very important part of city life. Piła it is an active city with active people. Residents of the city run, swim, shoot, ride bikes and ethuse others with their energy. A perfect recreation infrastructure enables us to do that.

 The most important sports events include: PHILIPS INTERNATIONAL HALF Marathon , Beach Volleyball Championship, Musical Quarter-Marathon, Dragon Boat Regatta, Biplane Congress and many others.
